It’s Astronomy Week! That means all week there will be trivia questions with the morning announcements. Students who answer the questions correctly will be eligible to win a free Astronomy t-shirt! To answer the question please write your name, the date and the answer to the question on a piece of paper and get it to Ms. Manley, room 241 by the end of the day today.
Hello there fellow snowflakes. There will be a meeting for the CHS Highlander, Thursday after school in room 209. In a frosty nod to the holidays, all attendees will receive a free copy of “An Entirely Bald Christmas,” Mr. Keefe’s hair-raising vocal tribute to the holiday season. Also, Mr. Cooper will be in full elf regalia as he drinks copious amounts of eggnog from a fire hose. So come and join the fun, tomorrow afternoon in room 209.
Along with the trivia questions there will be an Astronomy Night TONIGHT at 6:30 in the auditorium. Come and check out the stars with high powered telescopes.

Attention, Freshmen Class Officers: Our next meeting will be held next Wednesday, December 11.
Seniors-Graduation Cap & Gown measurements and order will be taken on Friday, December 6th during all lunches in the auditorium. It only takes a minute. Please bring $18.00 in cash or check made out to University Cap and Gown.
Key Club is doing a Toy Drive this week December 2nd to the 6th, to collect Toys to bring for the Kiwanis Pediatric Trauma Institute field trip this Saturday. These items will be brought to children in the hospital and every donation is greatly appreciated. Members of the Key Club will be collecting items this week during advisory. The list of items that are wanted by the children are: Crayons and colored pencils, Bubbles, playing cards, CD's for children, Movies for children and teenagers Play dough, Construction, paper Children's books and coloring books, Colorful Band-Aids.
The Campbell cares club will have a meeting on Wednesday, the 4th to organize our candy cane and compliments event. All members should attend.
Just a reminder to all seniors…please let Mrs. Ford know when you have applied to a college so she knows to send out your transcripts! Also, acceptance letters are starting to trickle in; be sure to bring a copy to guidance!
